Love to hear all this guys. Thank you. I naturally stress a lot and this forum has been so much help to me the last few months. I really appreciate all of you. Can’t wait to hit the road and earn some respect.

Hello to everyone i will be arriving for orientation@CFI next Monday, i guess it is a week long orientation (zzzz) lol supposedly all i have to do is the road test and drug test to be qualified and classroom stuff. i have a question i see that Keeker does alot of haz-mat loads is this a steady dedicated account? i do not have my haz-mat endorsement yet

They give you 120 days to get the endorsement and reimburse you.

I’m with with you brother. I start orientation this Monday as well. I just got my lisense last weekend. I’m sure we will both be okay. Just make sure we drive safe. Be audible to your examiner and let him know that your constant looking at all the medians and side streets for potential hazards. Audibly explain when you cover your breaks before intersections. All that good stuff. Just don’t break any laws and take the test just like you did for your lisense and I’m sure we will both be fine. A bit nervous myself as I’ll havent been in a truck for almost 3 weeks when I test. And I’ve only trained in cascadias. So nervous on the backing maneuvers if the truck feels any different or what not since I think cfi has all kenworths. But just stay positive. Be audible. And be safe.

They do I believe but I think the west coast is only for team drivers. When you look at the hiring map it hires anywhere for team drivers but it’s limited when it’s solo drivers, but I do believe they do. They go to Canada too
