After a 30 hour bus ride, like you have gone through, I'd need 2 or 3 days to recover. Best of luck at CFI, keep us informed of your experience, the good, the bad, and the ugly.

 

Finally made my happy ### to spring field... really not excited to get back I. That bus for one more short ride.

 

Any good local food near the cfi hotel?
I try to avoid chain restaurants when I can. The locals do it better.

 

theres stuff all around but i think its mainly chain food. there is a massage place north of the hotel if youre interested. been there a few times to loosen up my back after sitting.

 

Ain’t got money for such luxuries

 

Only one seafood place open on Easter in Cambridge, MD. No Uber here...2 mile walk...it was well worth the trip.

Went to the Portside in Cambridge, MD. I lived in Maryland for many years so I am highly qualified.

For starters, the cream of crab soup. Second best only to my own personal recipe. If they had mixed in a dash of Sherry, it would have been perfect.

Their oysters, billed as the holy Grail... were smallish, but as tasty as any I have ever had. They're farm raised by a local grower. Farm raised are usually sort of bland. These tasted like the best chinquatique oysters I ever had.

The crab cake... only one word for it.,.
EXAMPLARY.

 

Dang... now I gotta walk back.... face palm.
