Left my 680 (granted brand new truck) the entire two weeks and it started right up. Had the old 660 batteries die twice before the experts decided to get a new battery set. Relay in Winnemucca to SLC to relay again......at least 3 drivers on this load.

Two weeks off!!! I would have to be retrained...
I'll get new batteries on the road sometime before winter...
What chaps me is the load shedding program/software didn't do it's job. The alarm on the inverter was buzzing, the dash indicated load shedding, but the fan was still blowing, cooler running, and radio playing...so that didn't work and the motor had only been off about 7 hours.
I will be protecting those batteries until I can get new ones.Last edited: Aug 23, 2017

Just had the best truck stop shower... same cramped cubicle, and so on but...it was the begining of shower rush hour, the shower guy was running around like a chicken with his head cut off... singing along with the the background music, he seemed to make time to greet every customer. Pretty happy guy in a pretty crappy job... the best part was the recorded message"can I get a courtesy check of the mens and women's restroom"... the singing shower guy says"nope" and goes right back to singing without missing a beat.
I gave him a tip and told him don't ever stop singing...he blessed me and went right back to his song... not a big deal to most but it was to me -
