CFI Driver's What's Your 20? (2017 edition)

From what I saw the regional hiring area is super small

 

How much do you really need to freeze? I have a fridge that fits the space. Can easily fit 4 pounds of meat in the freezer compartment. That's 16 portions of meat. I don't bring more than two pounds from home and end up taking some off for hometime. Plan your meals to get a better idea of your real needs. Cheaper than paying a company to do it for you.

 

What kind of fridge? It’s kore so the fact I don’t have a freezer option currently so frozen foods I avoid

 

yes from what I was told there michaels and few others u can do dedicated but not sure totally on where and how many miles yet but for me and my wife we want miles and the experience first before doin anything dedicated or regional

 

Times are tough in Florida...no loads...deadhead 430 miles to Georgia to pickup a load going to laredo.

 

Yeah when I left Orlando a month or two ago they had to go to the bay yards in Tampa to pick up salt.

 

I had no idea the Wilmer yard was such a social hub..I've seen more drivers here than I've seen in Jopmo and all off then want to talk.

 

The big draw is seeing how close you can get to the gate without losing your safety bonus...or perhaps it's the Yellow Rose honky tonk...im suggesting that as the venue for the next safety meeting
