CFI Driver's What's Your 20? (2017 edition)

So supposedly my peoplenet isn't receiving or sending messages. You know anyway to try and reset if? Called dispatch and they tried sending a computer reset to it but that wasn't able to go through. Maybe you know any tricks. My e logs are still working so I don't need to worry about using paper at least. But my workflow and messages are basically out of commission.

 

No clue, but try the help desk instead of operations.

AC died right after I got rolling...no desert rides for this rooster! Cut my miles for the week in half. Weekend in laredo....should be the name of a cheesy movie or a country western song! This facepalm moment is brought to you by Kenworth.

 

When I upgraded my truck had a brand new ac compressor in it

 

mine went out about 2 weeks ago. it kept blowing the fuse. i drove all day through nebraska and kansas and couldnt stand it any more. went to peterbilt in okc. the guy looked at and said "its working fine". i just had to hit a bump the right way...... fortunately they were not out to shaft the guru and charge me for a new compressor.

 

get it fixed? if not try logout leaving truck, wait a bit and log back on.

 

Yeah there was a special trick that peoplenet customer support was able to tell me how to do to reset a certain function within the peoplenet,

 

3443 miles this week. A great way to kick things off after taking a week off in Joplin last week.

 

Food choices are good here...wont starve or die of thirst over the next few days...when life give you lemons you just peel it to make twists for the martinis...too hot for martinis...cold beer here.
