Going east I-10 CA to Houston this Thurs-Mon.
At least you won't be in the going home traffic from Vail to Denver.
70 is just too hard on my old truck plus the $$$ watching 1.5mpg or worse on long grades.

 

And I was in Miami 4 Days ago...this facepalm moment brought to you by...mother nature

 

The snow shower in the radar screen, found me...sno s wasn't bad, but every now and the the wind would drop a drift across I70...had to pay attention.

 

This is karma biting you in the butt, sir. You bragged about how warm it was. Hahaha!!!!

 

This might be the first time you and I ever agreed!!!!

 

I see a return trip following two cats across I10...if you are anywhere on I10, you are in Roosterville!

 

Doing a 34 at Petro in ontario, pretty cool trip. Night ride over Vail pass, snowcats up on the mountains grooming the slopes.

Day break through the canyons of utah, really cool.

Last leg was through the Virgin River Canyon, Rascal Flats blasting " Life is a highway"....

Could see the glow of Vegas from about 77 miles away... No traffic in Vegas at 4am, was able to look around.

Temp swings from minus 6 to 45 when I landed in San Bernardino...

Cool trip.

 

East on 10 to phoenix tonight, houston by saturday, 34 reset and deliver min am. Dry and sunny. Haven't seen snow yet this season.
