CFI Driver's What's Your 20? (2017 edition)

Always Red beans and rice! Although there was one in the NE somewhere that didn't even have them on the menu..I was in complete shock.

 

They talk funny up there. They probably have it but call it something else.

 

They overloaded the trailer axle and I couldn’t axle it ca legally at 40ft. I showed them the cat scale ticket showing I was over weight at 40fr and they kept saying that I’m not over gross. They just couldn’t figure it out.

 

Oh that. Sorry. Spend too much time talking to o/o's about running older tractors into cali.
I picked up some dog food in a town with no scales. Nearest in route was 175 miles on the way to calif. Got paid miles back to the shipper to have 1800# taken off the tandems. They understood exactly (on Monday). Problem was the new lift driver loading on Sunday.

Same thing. New lift operator. Trailer dropped in calexico yesterday evening. Parked east of El Paso at the pickle park having a nice chicken and pasta dinner with jalapeño bread. Get up in the morning and head to weatherford to sit until Monday am then let the adults decide if I deliver or relay in Wilmer.

 

Hard day at the office...was shooting for the TA in Jessup, nobody's favorite place but it's only 90 miles from my final in York. 95 was brutal all day and I'm possible after Richmond. Parked at the J at exit 104. Should get by DC and most of Baltimore before rush hour in the morning.

Lots of steak for dinner tonight! Golden Corral is my pal.

Petro in weatherford, tx positioned for an attempted delivery tomorrow am. Went through the beacon to get the grime off the truck. Hopefully the cons will accept the delivery. It’s only a month and a half early.
