I f they are trying to deliver a month early, there must not be any better freight. Let's see...too many drivers, not enough freight, the best solution is to hire more driver.

Makes sense, not to me, but it makes sense.

 

The best part is weekend dispatch called and said to just show up and play dumb. If they take the load then great, if not, call and they will figure out what to do. I’m just gonna wait until the A team shows up in the morning before I prance on over and “play dumb”.

 

I can play dumb without coaching from Jopmo...its what I do...comes naturally!

 

Came back out from two weeks off. First 2 loads total 3850mi over 10 days. Included a 34 plus a day layover waiting to pu the second load. Should be a restful year.

 

Chuckle when I see the weekly new driver group picture and they're all wearing red shirts. Bad juju. Didn't anyone watch star trek growing up?

 

I can't unsee that now.

 

Pickup in new Baltimore at 0900 tomorrow. at Taylor tonight.debating I should bite the bullet and take 75 to 96 then to 94 and come back the same way or go south on 75 and pick up 275 then cut across 696 back to 94

Or 75 to 39 up to 696 to 94... Not sure. Don't wanna get screwed by Detroit rush hour..

 

Didn't beat the Baltimore - Washington traffic. The bad drivers were up before the Rooster! Preplan from Hanover PA going to Sanger TX.

2000 miles in by Thursday morning...could be a good week...not getting my hopes up cuz it's too close to the Waco triangle.

 

I got on the board in Dallas at 1130 and I’m still waiting. 3 trucks ahead of me
