CFI Driver's What's Your 20? (2017 edition)

Somehow I went through Detroit rush hour twice and didn't have to go below 50 once. It's a miracle!

Gonna be at what I assume is roosters favorite truck stop since he seems to always be there. Flying j in Mt Vernon later tonight.

 

One truck stop is worse than the next in Mt. Vernon.... but good food choiced in walking distance

 

Going to the one on the North side

 

75 to 94 is the shortest, easiest route.

 

Wow I haven't seen a Ryan's buffet that's actually open in over 15 years. Temptations temptations...

 

Wow! A 500+ day without a pick up or delivery...That's on the heels of a day in the northeast with about 260 miles, a pick upp and a delivery, spread out over 13 hours and 52 minutes...the old man was ready for a break. I get another break tomorrow but will probably push it out to about 600 miles.

 

Oof nothing like a good tornado watch until 3am... 10 hour is up at 3:30. Lol gonna sleep and pray I suppose.

 

Being the most respected driver has its benefits. Roll into W. Memphis, @Ultratowel greets me at the fuel island, hands me a big fluffy towel and he tells me to go get a shower while he fuels my truck and washes my windows. Life is good, stay safe my friends.

 

@dosgatos Passed a white Volvo sitting by the side of the road early this morning around Texarkana...was that you? Felt bad that I didn't stop but i was tight on time...didn feel do bad when he blew my doors off a few minutes later.

 

Just saw a blind guy with a cane in the parking lot at the TA in Denton. Looked a little closer, it was a cb antenna... I've been out too long!
