CFI Driver's What's Your 20? (2017 edition)

Not doing keto but I am trying to watch the carbs as much as I can. I don't think k cam give up on pasta bahaha. That aside. I saw buffalo chicken recipes and all and I'm trying to think of what kind of wraps I can use for them to make little tacos with... I'm completely dumbfounded as I wanna avoid flour tortillas

 

I’m no fan of that... I’m not even in the desert.

 

There are so many keto recipes out there for people to help overcome sugar and carb cravings. Walmart usually has a good section in the food isles for starch/carb replacements.

 

Longhorn truck stop, I-10, exit 4 in Louisiana. Nice cafe, always parking available, looked like a no-brainer.

Not a steak on the menu (longhorn?). Waitress recommended smoked brisket. Terrible! The closest this plate got to smoked was it was probably basted with liquid smoke. Ok, 4 miles from Texas old Rooster is probably expecting too much...

The side dish was spicey rice...Cajun country...why not. Terrible whit rice with a little sprinkle of spicys seasoning...not enough to flavor the bowl....

I don't complain much...but this was awful...

You all can learn from my mistakes...that should make you all freaking geniuses.

 

They have tortillas called "carb smart" or something like that. They aren't bad.

 

These are what the wife and I eat, they have a plain version as well but the green ones taste better. Like 5g carbs per wrap and they are huge wraps!
Can be hard to find though, now that everyone is keto/low carb they buy them like crazy. When we find them we usually buy 3-4pks

 

More sitting and waiting! This time in Dallas! Starting to feel like my wife is doing all the work! Lately my shift has consisted of starting at 0300, drive about 150-250miles, deliver first thing in the AM. Then sit the last 6-8hrs of my shift. Then she comes on at 1500, we pick up and she will put in 550+ miles haha I know it's gonna be that way sometimes but all this sitting is driving me insane! I miss my drop and hooks

 

Well my truck is converted to eld now... @RoadRooster is lucky to be retiring this year. Alot of you guys are probably gonna be very upset by a few things. Overall though it doesn't seem too bad though. Mostly just the 5mph switches you to drive is gonna be the big frustration

 

I'm 65, got my first job when I was 14. Ain't no luck involved with retiring...I earned it. The only question is, do I go out in December or drive thru the winter?
