CFI Driver's What's Your 20? (2017 edition)

Ontop of that. I just got a load today in broken arrow, be (fun fact I was in North Platte earlier @RoadRooster ) that delivers 800 miles away. But not until 2100 on the 22nd. So doing a 34 at the bosselman. Better believe I'm idling.

 

So was Grand Island the right guess?

They tried to get on to us about idling, told them we have a dog whose not gonna sit in 90° weather, and the best way to fix us idling is to keep us moving and not give us time to idle. (At the time we were getting like 3500 avg miles)

 

Yeah. It's easy for them to tell us not to idle
But when they're done working they get to go back to the comfort of their home. It's unfortunate that there's not alot of miles right now but it's not our fault and we are expected to be constantly ready for a load and wanna tell us not to idle etc. It's a good way to get people to quit. When I'm not working I typically spend time in my truck unless I'm getting food shower or bathroom. I don't understand how people can hang out inside the truck stop for so long.

 

I agree. I've only hung out in the drivers lounge for a long period of time once, and that's only because I was feeling to lazy to walk back to the truck and they were showing iron Man 3 haha. Other than that it's like 5-10 mins while I wait on my wife to get out the shower.
