CFI Driver's What's Your 20? (2017 edition)

I'm really bad at math... Glad my company pays my per diem out of my check... Don't think this will affect me?
I'm making 27% of the load.. and rates are going up 6% on January 1st.. attention paid up for 1 hour at a rate of $22 an hour..
I think I'm good!!

Yes. Per Diem gone. And I Believe if you are receiving a Per Diem as part of your pay you will now need to pay taxes on it at the end of the year.

I did that load recently... I think... they all sound familiar these days... they are both easy to get to and a nice ride.

 

Heading to w. Memphis... deliver 40 miles west of there at 04:00 tomorrow...it would be nice if they take the load off me and give me a nice Calexico run... don't have high hopes though... probably hard to get a local driver up at that hour

We both called it right. I get to deliver it. They have a trainee at the window here. He pre-planned me for a load to Coldwater, MI. I wasn't very happy with it, but didn't say anything except I hope I can get out of there before Christmas.

That worked pretty good because by the time I walked back to my truck, I had a pre-plan for Jonesboro AR to casa grande, az... back to the I 10 fleet where I belong!!!
