With your steering wheel centered, count how many turns of the steering wheel it takes to go all the way in either direction.

If it’s more than 2 you need to adjust your turn stops.

Chad is one that uses the MD Alignment procedures.
Find a place like that and they will get your issues solved.

Like Blair and Lyle stated, Chad is awesome and knows his stuff.

Now I'll almost guarantee your tires are wearing odd because of too low of air pressure. Take them to 130 cold and you will solve a lot of the funky wear issues. Think Im crazy? Well I follow what MD Alignment and guys like Chad recommend. I have never had a tire wear issue or failure from too much pressure.

    Elroythekid and blairandgretchen Thank this.

Once those steers start to wear funny, there gonna keep wearing that way. A drive tire you can correct but not a steer tire.

Yup, get in between the drives with a long hunk of metal and heave them apart - see any slop?

    Elroythekid Thanks this.

Its possible to slow it down. I personally would swap the tires side to side once the issue(s) have been fixed and then start watching to see how the tires are wearing.

I look at and run my hands over my steer tires multiple times a day. Almost to the point of ocd.

That’s what I have done in the past, swap left to right, right to left and has slowed it down. My Firestone’s 591 I run now have wore perfectly so far.

Drives are all wearing perfectly. All bushings have been checked, stops have been adjusted as per Mike Beckett. I don't get that far into the mid west or I would go to KC for sure.

Do a search for MD Alignment shops. Good chance you can find one in your travel area.

    Elroythekid Thanks this.
