So I am a local delivery driver and just came out of a stop and noticed my passenger outside drive tire was flat. Called my warehouse and they're sending someone to change it. They're also gonna change the other side drive because the tread is thin. (Bout time they get around to it, I had to request that one).
my question is, do I need to drop my trailer or can they do it still hooked? If they need me to drop, I can already have that done by the time they get here. Thanks!

I find it easier with the trailer unhooked, but it can be done hooked up.

it can be done either way.

If you have some 2x6's or even 2x4's handy, sent them on the inside duals and drive up on them to get the outside tire up off the ground before the tire guy gets there.

Don't matter the air jack will lift the truck off the ground with ease.

That isn't true.... If it is an outside tire you don't even have to take the wheel off the truck if you know what you are doing.. Just need a block or 2.... a couple of tire tools a vice grip a rag and a air hose... I can change a tire in about 5 minutes this way...

I helped him out. We jacked up the truck and used some breaker bars to take the tire off. Slipped the new one and set the bead. Filled it up and sat it down. Took about 20 minutes cause his bead tool kept blowing out of the rim lol
