I have read that if i were to take a class test with a dually and trailer, i could get a class A with no air brakes. However, what if i already have a class B with airbrakes license? Would that transfer over, giving me a full A, or would i be able to drive B trucks with air brakes, and A without?
If the latest test is without air brakes, then you will have an air brake restriction. You only have one license, and it will match whatever the latest test is. If you retake it with a vehicle without air brakes, then you cannot drive any vehicle with air brakes.
Agreed with Zvar and I could be wrong but if you take the test in a truck with an automatic transmission you'll only be allowed to drive automatics
