Closing up shop, or thinking about it?

Yeah, just gotta be brave and bite the 300k dollar bullet.

 

Prices might go down on real-estate but if its something that works in the price range I would go for it. I am planning on buying a different home once prices crash hopefully around end of summer next year.

 

Stuck in the 80's now.

 

That's my biggest fear is I'll bite and then the real estate market will crash around my ears. If I wait for it to crash around somebody else's ears somebody gets it first.

 

My answer today……heck no.

In a few weeks……maybe

In a month or two……..it may be possible to rekindle our relationship.

But that all depends on the engine and if he fixes it or we go to court.

 

I've been in the same boat lately. Been home waiting to get the truck in the body shop after getting backed into. Mainly, just sick of feeling like I'm always on high alert for some moron to do something stupid and in an instant we're neck deep in hell. It's gotten old.

Can't say how many times I've sat on the porch the last few weeks staring at the truck and a big part of me wishing it wasn't there.

I just backed into my spot at shipper. Loading in the morning. Got a pretty good audible air leak in the dash. I got time to take a look, but all I can think about is if I should walk 15 minutes, bobtail, or Uber to the local Applebees. I guess it depends if I wanna drown my sorrows in one of those tall draft glasses.

My local Applebees had a rule for me back in the day. I was not allowed in there past 5 PM. I would meet friends for lunch and stay and drink while they went back to work. I was to lazy to stand up and drive to a decent bar.

By the time everyone was done working, I had downed quite a few of those tall drafts and maybe some shots. I would forget about the restaurant part and they had no tolerance for my drunken antics.

 

Im actully doing better this year then last. I have more work then i can handle, rates stagnated save fuel surcharge but im actully looking at a new truck upgrade.

That could flip and time sure but for now im sitting pretty.
