Some of the comments of folks just giving in, or asking if the fight is worth it. I'm sure glad some of you weren't advising George Washington during the Revolutionary War, ask him if fighting the British is worth it??? The Constitution we are protected by suggests it is and we must continue the fight today....

 

No, folks know 1776 was very important to why we have what we have today and the progress made........the men who crafted our founding documents are infinitely wiser than today's leaders....because they understood sacrifice and loyalty to the country.....something thats lacking these days...

I do agree to a point. So how should we slow this thing down? Lock downs, masking, social distancing and for some people handwashing is negotiable. I don't know what else there is to do...maybe let people get sick and/or die and the economy go to hell. There are avenues to slow it down, but everything is getting push back....what's next?

I'm going to "pick" on you a bit! I don't think the founding fathers were wiser! The founding fathers had not sat in classrooms for decades being indoctrinated as most of today's current politicians have been. We still have statesmen in government! Even the founders had to deal with pacifists like John Dickinson. The key is and always will be education!
