I applied to lga trucking out of El paso Texas. They didn't claim to be sap friendly, did not Reply back with answer, they hesitated with the sap

Look into Van Lines, like an Allied or United contractor. I’ve heard most are SAP, felon, whatever other issues you might have, friendly.

Don't drivers at van lines such as Allied, Mayflower, etc. have to be bonded?

I think the contractor has to be, not necessarily the drivers under them? I’m not sure how it all works. I drove for a small moving company that owned the Mayflower and United contracts for that region, and I sure as hell wasn’t bonded. I wasn’t an SAP or anything like that, but the other driver was, and had felonies. That dude hired anyone.

    Dwellsouth and Chinatown Thank this.

I don't want give out the company name yet. They run ads on Craigslist on the west coast. They are team driving, will pair you up with someone.

Look on Craigslist you will probably see their ad. Require 2 years experience, clean mvr. They do not advertise sap friendly so you have to ask.

Thank you! I actually got my own DOT number based on your other post and I'm working with one of the 100 companies that contacted me the instant I got issued my number.
It's a pretty complex thing but I think I can hang on financially to see it through. I had to call fmcsa to get a PIN, which they'll ONLY mail to your registered address taking 7-10 days, just to register as an employer in the Clearinghouse and assign my new symposium people. $75 for a follow up test is all I've paid so far.
(I have to find a home daily job to care for my animals and properties so at the same time I drove around my local truck stops on the weekend and wrote down names and DOT numbers and looked then up and called every one of them that was active. I'm getting interest but I'm not trying to have them run my FUT either.)

The van line do not hire felons. A driver with a felony conviction can not be qualified. I know that people can turn a new leaf and it may not be fair but in their mind the operator is moving someone's home it's there life. Even casual labor must be vetted with background checks. For SAP if they pass the SAP program then they may be qualified
