Not going to rag on slow trucks here. That seems to make folks upset. Just curious about something I have observed about companies that have Express, or JIT, or something similar in their names. A lot of them seemed to be governed slow. I don't know, maybe it's me. You would think that eating up the miles would be a priority. I passed a truck with a company name, not going to name it, but along the lines of Bob's Balls to the Wall Express Delivery that was farting along at about 55. If I had booked a load with them, I would expect Bob to be going balls to the wall. Oh well, maybe it's me. Maybe he was so ahead, he backed it off.

Express mean the freight goes from origin to destination without going through a terminal. Point-to-point instead of like with a Fed Ex package that may travel from San Diego to Los Angeles by going to Memphis, TN first.

Sometimes I’m express sometimes I’m slower than swift. Depends what I got going on that day.
I’ll always put that hammer down getting on the freeway though, gotta test the 0-60. Lol
I’m also guilty of being in the hammer lane on hills and passing everyone because a it’s fun.tscottme Thanks this. -
Years ago the big joke out on the road was that the slowest trucks had the fastest names!! Swift, Overnite, Redball etc.

Panda Express goes from my mouth to the toilet in record time, which is why I no longer eat there.
