Trying to gauge what's considered "normal" for company drivers. Please comment on average duration of your trips, days home, or anything else you want to add. Thanks, guys!

    Steel Dragon Thanks this.

I'm on a dedicated run where I run about 3500 miles per week every week. Plus I'm usually home during the week once plus my reset is at the house every week

We get mileage bonus on 11k and 12 k.
    Make the mileage every month.
February with 28 days is difficult.
My dispatcher threw 2 3600 mile weeks at me so I could make the bonus.
    Awesome dispatcher!

Depends on what you do. When I was a route driver, 300 miles a day, with stops, was a big day.

That's understandable, but I'm more interested in OTR mileage :)

When I had my own truck, and pulling rail cans regional,( Wis, Ill, Mi, Mn) which was incentive, about 2,000/week ( 5 days worth of problems) was about all I could muster.

I think you'll find the longer the trip length average is at a given fleet, the higher the average weekly or monthly miles, without exception. If miles and keeping down time to a minimum is your goal,1,200 mile average trip length is good but 1,600 is better. However at these fleets, regular home time is rare.

But a lot also has to do with how frequently one seeks home time. This has a huge impact on long term averages.
