But telling a driver they can go home on xmas, then not letting them, is inexcusable.
Honesty is critical. We deliver loads to customers on time, the companies should deliver us to our houses on time.stillwurkin, CruzControhl, IluvCATS and 1 other person Thank this. -
The driver managers have been good to me, but not perfect. A couple squabbles about annoying loads, but nothing serious.
They have always been truthful with me, and rarely have screwed up any of my home time in the last almost-2-years.
The only truly annoying thing they have done that impacted me in the last nearly two years is switching to the Peoplegarbage Elogs, instead of staying with Omnitracs.stillwurkin, CruzControhl and bzinger Thank this. -

This may not apply to you, but my experience is most newbies simply will not listen to anyone warn them that the company they are about to start working for will treat them badly and they should find another company. Yes, every company had good and bad reviews. But, the companies with the worst reviews have tons of bad reviews and a couple of management employees posting good reviews. My rule is never, no matter what, ever, no matter what, work at a company until you talk to current drivers. Ask them specific questions about t=whatever you need to know and LISTEN. You are wasting your time if your questions are "do they pay good" and "will I get home?". Be specific and use real numbers.
Good luck on your next company.CruzControhl, Farmerbob1 and Omega1 Thank this. -

Honestly i think i would like to try every out fit as funny as it may sound. I want to flat bed...i want to haul some cars..i want to haul some hazmats and tankers and cylinders and see what its like to feel liquid sway and swoosh around...i think the only thing i dont have a real interest in is HEAVY... as in big, big stuff, haul. I mean a back hoe that hangs over the edges would be ok but nothing extremely big.
For the time being though for my next outfit ill stick with dry van and or reefer. -
