Hey, if a company you’re leased on to doesn’t pay you. What would you do ? What kind of lawyer would I need ? They owe me $12,000+.

    a contractual lawyer.

you file a claim on thier bond.

if you are a member of any truckers organization, such as OOIDA, they would have a list of lawyers that you can contact near you. you would still have to pay them of course.

He said he's leased on to a carrier, not a brokered load. There is no bond for that.

First read your contract with them. Some companies don’t send the final settlement until 90 days after you’ve left.

Time to call a contract lawyer and park it till you find someone that pays.

which was the first thing i responded with...

this can be a situation of "signing on the dotted line, without reading the entire contract"

Yea I plan on having my own insurance and DOT but wanted to get to know the side
Cool thanks, I’ll contact a contract lawyer, parked last few days and asked for payment, already had a job set up running with them now.

    RoadRooster Thanks this.
