Con-Way Truckload Drivers: What's Your 20? (2014 edition)

Seen enough of that area the last few weeks. Enjoy. I have to roll at 0530 tomorrow. Nice to be on the early shift.

 

I like to drive early too... That's why my finisher actually gave me the nickname rooster

it's the fog that I'm not looking forward to

 

Remember we had the same finisher. His name is James. What ever happened to him anyway?

I forgot about that... James lives in Springfield...in a catering business with his wife...he needs one more kid that have a hockey team.

 

So he stopped driving? When? I know they were looking at moving to Springfield during my training time.

 

a year ago and was running a Cartage company...Joanie built up a business enough to where she needed help so he joined her

 

the change was fairly recent

 

Glad to hear he got a trucking company started. He had mentioned buying his own truck at some point. I'm hoping to be hanging up my keys for good in the not to distant future. We'll see if it really happens.

 

I woke up this morning with a pre-plan on my Qualcomm go figure...

Four Oaks North Carolina to Schenectady New York...didn't see any snow today...what?

I was coming down I-77 yesterday in Bluefield...passing that local Landmark called Southern xposure..there's a little brown UPS truck out front with the flashers on...

do you suppose it was an emergency order of Chinese glitter...Chinese pasties...Chinese g-strings...

Prob a bunch of those hoverboards & JC penny amazon junk. I walked a ton of those. It was terrible.

Got the countdown on....ready to get back to doing nothing. Gonna put some new hardwood floors into one of the rentals.

Looking at building a cheapass party pole barn in an octagon shape. Rent it out to the college students... Since the gated college community got shot up...come live in the side country! City keeps getting worse & worse. New Arena is even going bankrupt.

Could prob squeeze 8 rooms in there with a double bathroom on the ground level. Be a cash cow.
Be like 60k to get it done right 2 floors.
Pay itself off in two years.
