Just after I posted that on my local news came on a segment about ups drivers having electric trucks and having a drone on top of the truck that would charge on the landing pad.

Well....sign me up for that seasonal!
I want the super drone that lifts the team stuff. Helper was decent but still.

Maybe that is the future. Automated trucks deliver to government secured rest stops like airports which get sorted & delivered by electric package car/drone local.

Never bought anything off amazon its too expensive. We are poor around here so things are cheaper. Hell I van find the same thing direct from China for a nickel or entertain myself at an auction or flea market.

Did they finally get your truck all fixed up?

Been seeing lots of CFI trucks on the road lately. Freight must be good for them right now. Looks funny on the newer trailers to see CFI.......a TFI Company.

Got me a 0500 drop and hook, then 600 miles back home tomorrow.

 

yep everything's working, he logs, no air leaks, no water in my bunk...even had extra time to get rebranded...they wouldn't put rooster on my doors...have to wait for Joplin for that...no big hurry

 

Computer guy broke my e logs and stuff. Been on paper for a week now. Just tragic
He also told me to plan on at least six weeks to get a new one. Just awful, isn't it?

 

I prefer pushing buttons...I don't drive it illegal even on paper logs so why worry about it just push the button and go...push the button and stop...push the button and fuel up


being left handed a bound paper log is a real pain for me...I ain't going to work hard enough or long enough that I have to cheat... give me my elos

 

I agree, but I have found it more relaxing running paper. I can't cheat very much because apparently the gps is still active on my truck and the log/safety lady will compare logs with gps records. I won't risk my license for anyone or anything, not that I have ever been asked to.

 

So much for my easy drop and hook. It turned into a live unload. Been back here at the truck stop for 2 hrs now.
