You need to do a search on this.

There are many threads on this and the fact that it is not legal.

See the search box above the forum, type 1099 in it and you will see many threads.

I have already did a search and the threads were closed. Roadmedic you have already stated your opinion on this subject. This question was posed for those who are successfully having a 1099 driver and had audits. IE volvo1,Gman,And hurst. So with all due respect I'm not looking for an argument on what your opinion is.

    There are no examples available.

Contact the IRS and ask them if you do not believe me.

I am an Enrolled Agent to Practice before the IRS.

    Google it sometime.

Look at this thread. It is still open and I am not the one who made the issue.

Did you look at that thread?

Probably did not really look anyway.

Just do it illegally and when it bites you, come on here and complain like all the others.

By the way just to let you know I spoke with the IRS and there answer was totally different
from yours. I am just asking fellow truckers who may have a contract for help. It seems as though
Some people in the transportation industry never want to help each other. If you don't agree with 1099
drivers that's okay. I'm not soliciting your opinion. Move Around.

Just so you know, they do not stand behind any advice they give on the phone. You must complete the form that Guntoter refers too in order to protect yourself.

So why would you assume that a form wasn't filled out. You are the one that always
jump to the conclusion of it being illegal without knowing the details. I started this post
for those like volvo1, Gman, and Hurst. Can you stop trying to take over post and make it
    about you. Move Around

You filed the form and got the advice, then good for you.

Maybe the others have finally learned. I am not the only one on here that answers the way I have.

If you only want them to answer, send a PM direct to Mastertech and ask him to forward a pm to them for them to contact you.

    spyder7723 and L84AD8 Thank this.
