Conway Truckload drivers APU?

DUDE! TMI! Oy...!

 

Newby question, do the windows in the sleeper open? If so do they help to keep it vented?

 

ha ha ha...Conway now XPO..have APUs...lmbo...I drive here and your lucky you got a 1500 watt inverter...idling of the big motor is fair though. ..but they are bean counters...will never install APUs...they actually said in a recent voice heard call in from a driver asking about them, that it's cheaper to idle the truck...lol...bean counters ya knows what I mean....

 

Soooooo, what's the problem here?????

 

You just idle away and risk a ticket in states like CA, NY, NJ, PA, MA, and some others. ...shut motor off if you see the white pickup driving around at truck stop in CA...he the man give you a ticket for idling...lol...I've never gotten one but have come close

 

Well if you like driver creature comforts DON'T come to work here...lol driver...you been without to long...in the new driver world companies are installing not only APUS but much more..i.e. fridge/freezer, direct tv, etc...cheap companies will stay cheap but will left in the dust you might wanna say....lol..ha ha ha

 

I see. I have an APU, TV, fridge/freezer, and company installed CB now. Going to buy my microwave soon. Also no cameras, wingman, or adaptive cruise.

 

Yes, those cameras, wingman, adaptive cruise are really not driver creature comforts. Have a safe one driver. As for me yes I have my own fridge/freezer, microwave, crockpot, etc..because I like my cooking and I can freeze chicken,pork chops,etc , and we'll I'm a good cook...so my inverter get some good use. All in all though rather have apu and inverter interconnected (the way it should be..lol)..but anyways driver enjoy.

 

I got APU ... Inverter and Stock KW fridge/Freezer ... My Microwave and 32 flat screen ,DVD player and an old cobra 25

 

I'm cooking me up pork chop, baked patatoe, and some corn for dinner tonight on break here in the MT mountains...may pop me up some popcorn for tonight...
