So it's been awhile sense I seen anyone write about this training facility. Figured sense I am here I would try to give you a good idea as the days go on. Grey hound is grey hound. You take it because you can't afford to get yourself here. The hotel they put you up in isn't good but its cheap (cause you do have to pay it back) plus the staff is actually really nice for what they get paid to do their job. So day one at the school is a breeze. Basicly just a bunch of paper work and yes a DRUG TEST. Lost one guy cause he didn't even want to waste their time. Another thing is you need to do your research before you get into this. So many people think they are going to make $80,000 their first year and as you know that is very far from the truth. It really makes me think did these people just wake up one day and say "hay I going to go be a to be a truck driver"? Anyway their are more websites to look on I just prefer this one. So yeah in a nut shell grey hound bad hotel bad but if you don't sacrifice a little you will never gain anything. Tomorrow is first real day of class. Can't wait.

So it's been a few weeks been out on the road with a school instructor. I am feeling good about my skills. I take my test Friday. Also this school is very fast passed. You put in anywhere between 10-13 hours a day. I guess they are just getting you ready for the road. So far the school is good could be better but it will get you what you need. I guess i will find out Friday if it got me what i need. Lol

Well I passed my CDL test. I am scheduled for orientation for Monday. Looking back on the past fw weeks the biggest peace of advice I can give anyone is have alot of money saved up. It really sucks not working for a month. It is faster to go to the 3 week training but it is not paid training (at least in my case). So I hope to be out on the road in a little over a week and start making money. Lol
