Well, I asked how long it would take. She said it takes about 5 days for them to go through the paperwork. So I am guessing, but sometime in the next couple weeks or less.

Nice thing too-- I'll get a flight out there. And I won't have to ride a buss or share a room with someone I don't know.

 

I did think about flatbed.

I don't want to tarp loads. Heavy, wet, cold,dirty tarps--in all kinds of weather.
I made that comment about flatbedding in one of my posts and you should of seen the backlash. "DONT MAKE TRUCKER MAD. YOU WONT LIKE INTERNET TRUCK WARRIOR WHEN HEZ MAD!"

But it's not about me, it's what your interested in. Would you like it? Are you interested in it?

You can do what I did. Look up McElroy, TMC, Maverick on google and read reviews on glassdoor and indeed.Take notice of what people say about the company, the good and the bad. For all three of those companies, among the most common and repeated complaints, pay/miles and waiting on loads. Multiple people mentioned how it had been much better at one time.

Now, someone might come on here and say they love "XYZ" company that I just mentioned. Everyone will have a different experience. But, I don't look at one bad review or even multiple bad reviews on their own. What gets my attention, is when I see multiple people saying the same thing repeatedly.

 

Thanks China, I read that Blue Cross and Blue shield is great insurance if you need it but wow, 800 a month...ha, doesn't leave as much as I'd like.

Friends are telling me that for the size of my family, I can probably get obamacare. I don't even understand what exactly obamacare does but I'm gonna look into it.

Update on Freymiller- I can either get into orientation on Feb 2nd or 9th. They are running short on non smoking trainers. They are going to let me know.

update on Navajoexpress- All the companies I've talked to, a handful haven't been interested. Some will say "You had an accident and we can't hire you or your work history isn't good enough for us"-- but navajo express..wow, they send me a pdf that says I didn't pass their background or credit or work history or a combination of both. At least every other company just tells you why they are not interested.

 

I just thought it was stupid. I've applied to a LOT of places. Only a few weren't interested. And none of those sent me a letter like that.
