You sat for 13 hours longer than I would have, unless you get great detention.

Cr England has some stupid policies. And they’re rebuttal is always to trip plan. There’s only so much you can trip plan for until something out of your hands happens. I’m glad I’m gone from that hell hole.

Last I knew CRE had the Smithfield account running Smithfield Meats out of Smithfield Virginia. I'm going to try to contact somebody over there and confirm if this silliness is in fact a policy that prohibits blindsides. I'm thinking it is more like CRE advises against doing it. There is a big difference.

    What do?[/QUOTE]

Sorry but I just have to say it , you have absolutely no business whatsoever being in a truck.
You have to be able to take the bull by the horns in this business.

    bryan21384 and DTP Thank this.

There is no language barrier, just your inability to solve the problem.

I don't get some of you steering wheel holders, you all act like you can't think outside the cab.

Get with it, tell the guy through one or two Andrew Jacksons what you need to do, have him pull the trailer out and then hook up and get the hell out of there.

My God it is that simple green always speaks their language.

It worked out for the best, I am on a different load and some local is getting a easy run to the yard on Monday.

I am a new driver, my time really isn't that valuable yet.

With that kind of attitude about your time you should clean out the truck and go flip burgers. I don't handle self deprecating attitudes when it comes to this job. Your time is very valuable. Every minute you allow another to take from you is wasted. I'm serious. Either take this serious or get the #### out!

In the future I will value my time more but in the meantime I will keep learning, My current nemesis is those angles parking spots at TA centers.

Ken Harwood is the Yoda of CRE keep your mind on where you are and what you are doing, be mindful of the present.
