Had a long day a few days back. I had to drop and hook 3 trailers in a timely manner and after hooking my 2nd load I had time to stop for a minute after scaling and parking at the Pilot in Braselton, Ga. I picked up the pilot magazine and headed for the mens room. I have a ritual of preparing the toilet for it's use. I clean the seat, pull out and place a toilet napkin and get comfortable if you know what I mean. I was not seated more than a minute when a crazy walked in. In a loud and irritating manner, proceeded to comment on the smell in the room. Next thing I know he is seated next stall over describing for all to hear that his movement feels like peanuts all the while grunting and groaning. I became so uncomfortable that my usually 10 minute routine ended in 2 minutes. A personal record for me, one I wouldn't care to beat. This crazy got me so irritated that I began answering back his nonsence asking if he really believed anyone cared what his movement looked like. I was in a good mood up until this point in my day.
Now, I get back to my truck and I can't leave the truckstop because it is gridlocked for 30 minutes. A Landstar driver decided to park in a no parking zone and a woman driver was having the toughest time trying to get backing in to an open hole. I walked over to the Landstar driver, since he was behind the wheel, and stated that the driver trying to get backed in would have been in no problem had he not parked there. He was ignoring everyones calls on the cb for him to move! I asked him to move with a little bit of an attitude so she could get backed in. I told Mr Landstar that when traffic cleared he could have my spot since I was leaving.
when I finally made it out of there I had time to reflect. I don't think I cursed at the Landstar driver and I was thankful I was not loosing my marbles like the crazy in the mens room. All in all another day on the road lol.![]()

That does seem so inconsiderate though!! My husband said when he was on the road, he would pull in and there would be no room, some where hogging up to 3 spots!! Just doesnt seem right, they are not the only ones that would like to park for the night!
