My application was accepted but could someone please tell me, do they test blood cholesterol? It sounds like they are doing fitness checks and I know my cholesterol may be above 200. I had a job actually test for that before and I barely made the cut. I am not obese, but also not aerobically fit by any means. I should just ask the recruiter, but I don't want to draw any additional attention to myself. So I'm curious if I need to start jogging or something. Someone mentioned lifting 70 lbs and I'm pretty sure I will have no problem with that. Thanks for any tips.

Half-hour south of Syracuse. Says it's a driver unload. Only 336 cases of Uncle Ben's product. Even I might be able to handle it. Maybe.

So if you unload it how much do you get paid? Not the large lumper fee I bet.

I unload a trailer about once every five years. I figure if I don't have to break this load down too much, I can get out fairly quickly with a little extra cash in my pocket. I'm not spending 6 hours for a pittance, though....been doing this too long....

I learned my lesson the hard way once. At the time (about 10 years ago) I actually enjoyed unloading because it got me out of the cab and my blood flowing. At this particular warehouse though, it seemed like the workers turned against me. There were multiple products and all had to be stacked in different patterns. Each time I would have to wait a long time for a 'checker' and then another guy would have to tell me exactly what they wanted on the next break down. I'm not kidding, but I was actually there for 2 1/2 days! It was a complete nightmare.

After doing the Coreyland gig.......I am headed WESTCOAST. Best news I have had in awhile....Cha-Ching...time to fatten the money-clip, which has been getting lean after a previous 2972 mile week.

Well I was suppose to head out today. 9 am sent in hours, sent in my reset message, and told them I was ready. 45 minutes later I sent in my 'test' message that I use to make sure my q/comm wasn't having an A.D.D. attack...nothing. Another 45 minutes, I ask if I should expect a long wait...nothing. 45 more minutes, I ask if it is going to be today when I get something...nothing. Another 'test' message. Finally at noon I decided to take my inlaws to a Fathers Day dinner, and give up trying. Went shopping, then took a nap w/the wife. Went out and checked again. Turns out 5 minutes after we left for dinner, they finally answered one of my 1st messages, after 3+ hours and then a preplan. Pu at the Tifton drop yard, deliver north of Clearwater at 8 am tomorrow. No-can-do now. Been up since 6 am, now not enough time to get a break in, and if I waited until evening to go pickup the run it straight down, I would have been up 26 hours at my delivery appointment, and almost no hours to get out of there to take a daytime 10 in central FL. So, they took me off it and put me on a Gainesville to Baltimore load.
