If it's the yellow one...ignore it for a while. Mine came on the 1st time, had it checked...they said it was engine over speed(rpm) which was b.s. because I was on flat ground north of Lafayette, IN putting along at 62. Then within a week, it was on again and stayed on for ...I don't know, because I put a piece of black tape on it after 3 days(the dealer said if something critical goes wrong, you get the upside down triangle and the red engine light will come on, and if very serious, it'll shut down before destroying itself). Months later I looked under the tape, and it was off. It would be off when I shut down at night, and stay on after it's p.o.s.t. blink and flash test when you turn on the key...then stay on for a day or so, then be gone. Mine has been on most of this week, am looking for my black tape soon.

    Captain Zoom Thanks this.

It appears that NY has reversed itself on the NY HUT stickers. I've seen purple stickers on some of our newer Prostars, now I'm stuck under a load to CT where they sent an additional message about getting w/prorate if your truck doesn't have a sticker.

They're all probably waiting on their loads out of Social Circle. I wish I had a few million bucks...a new truckstop at the Social Circle exit would be a real popular place since the Peelot and T/A are 13 miles away.

It was sweet to get this 1800 mile load out to California, but the extra time has been ridiculous - enough for a 34 reset before picking up and now another one waiting to unload. I wanted to go to the California State Railroad Museum while I am killing time here in Sacramento, but just as I was about to leave, I looked at their website and they were closed (just today!) for some kind of inventory, ####. Oh well, I went to see that movie about the tsunami, "The Impossible" - highly recommended.

You'd just get shot down by the town council. "Those truck stops in Madison are enough! We don't want those noisy dirty idling trucks in OUR pretty town!" 'Tis how it always goes.

Houred out at the Western entrance to the NY thruway, used to be a truck stop there, now the only thing is a Lions Den porn shop. The clerk said it would be fine to do my 10 in their lot, and said if I wanted to buy something my Comdata card would work like it does at Walmart! I went back to the truck, braced for endless knocking and soliciting...instead I got the best night's sleep in forever. No reefer units, no unmuffled giant Cats at fast idle, no lizards, just blissful silence. I always thought those places were freak factories...guess the freaks stick to the Jack-I-Matic booths in the back. (I didn't shop)

It's a good thing you don't work for Crete. If someone decided to call in on you, they'd write you up. Spoke to a Creten that took refuge in one when the road was shut down for an ice storm and there were no truck stops or Walmarts around to park at, and figured it was safer there than the shoulder of a ramp...they still wrote him up. If it were me...I'd embarassed the #### out if them by just implying that I was there for other reasons and that their discrimination against certain lifestyles is illegal, just to see how tough it would be for them to studder their way through an appology to keep from having a lawsuit slapped on them.
