My luck immediately turned for the worse. Within 2 hours of that post, I had an emergency of the restroom sort, then had heartburn keep me up for awhile during the night, then woke up this morning with #### near debilitating pain in my neck. I literally had to lay in the bunk for a couple hours in hopes that the pain would subside enough that I could get to my chuckle****in' ibuprofen.

Hope you're ok. I have acid reflux which sounds kind of similar (except not as severe). Anything that messes with your sleep is pretty brutal.

Sounds like the west bound freight is picking up a little. I delivered my load to K/C...then I was sent a load off the yard headed for Aurora, CO for Thursday morning...where they're expecting 4-8 inches of SNOW, and a low tonight of 21 deg. I'm sitting here in K/C with my a/c running. Mother nature needs to take her meds...I think she's suffering from multi-personality disorder.

Neck is still sore, otherwise fine. Thanks for the kind thought.
If anybody's in Indy, look for me in the terminal, I'm the really tall guy with a proper beard wearing an Auburn shirt and ball cap. -
Sometimes the weirdest things work out for the best. I made it from Duncanville, TX to Van Horn, TX yesterday at about 1430. Fell asleep pretty early. I left the TV and Sat on so my batteries ran dead sometime in the night. I awoke about 0030 and was WIDE awake. Went in and showered and hit the road about 0115. In Tucson I got a message asking if I could go on in to my first stop ASAP because they really needed what I had. My appt time was 0700 tomorrow so I said "why sho thing!" Got there about 90 minutes later where they unloaded 17.5K pounds of a 21K pound load. So now I sit at my fuel solution in Avondale, AZ with 3500 pounds in the trlr headed toward Vegas tomorrow. Delivery is Friday at 0700. I think I'm gonna slack off a bit and hit the craps tables tomorrow eve and chill in the hotel room some as well!

Joe, I saw some of those new 'OnGuardless' trucks you were talking about. They have a few in K/C. Nothing but bumper and mesh down below....however(he say's with a perplexed mind) there's something new on these. In the windshield, below the cb cubby hole is a piece of equipment. From the outside it looks like the rumored cab camera...only on the back side, I can't tell if it's a speaker, or a mini exhaust fan. Plus on the center of the dash, in one of the gauge blank spots is something that looks like a digital clock, only it sticks out a couple inches and appears to have a couple llittle buttons. Perhaps a control for rewinding or saving video? This is just a guess, but that's what it looks like unless it's a new type of laser distance/collision warning deal, but it isn't anywhere close to the size of an OnGuard unit.
Plus, it appears the company wised up a bit. On the dash is a new toggle switch marked 'auto start'. Not sure if it's a key on, or 'battery pack' on way to let the truck start itself instead of just a low battery beeper. -
I know on the 2013 I had, it had the autostart switch. Worked pretty cool similar to the opti idle but just for battery rundown.

hmmmm, is there a need for a cooling fan on a camera *scratches head* if it is a microphone they're in for a treat. I carry a tune like a soup sandwich holds its broth. (psst, not very well)
