Man I would do the run for free! Maybe not right now though. Things are a little unsettled. I sent my Lebanese buddy(worked with him in Afghanistan) a note a few days ago. I haven't heard from him yet. I hope he's not there

The sure fire way to get a load there is to say 'I would never want to go there'...remember, they utilize reverse psychology (or is it ygolohcysp esrever). Works every time. When I say I want to go home, they send me a load heading in the exact oppisite direction. I ask for a break from the north east, bingo...O all but live up there for a month.

I need advice. It seems like everything turns back against me and scr#ws me over. My truck was in an International dealer for a week. They originally were just working on the fuel pump but when they took off the passenger side fairing, they said it had been installed incorrectly and damaged the fuel tank. All that was completely inaccessible to me and out of view during the pre-trip. They had to replace the whole fuel tank. I've been waiting for the company to somehow blame that on me, but so far haven't heard anything.

Shortly after that repair, I noticed that NOW the fairing looks cattywampus. At the time, i called a Lincoln shop or breakdown (can't remember which) and described the situation. I even offered to send pictures, but they said just have it looked at during my next service. But since I have been on the west coast, I haven't done that yet. Now I notice that the fairing is starting to rub the paint off in a few areas where it meets the body. I took a few pictures, but it may be hard to see. I dread going through another giant time wasting rigamaroll, but I wonder if I should call 'accidents', breakdown, or how exactly to approach this. It doesn't seem like I have had a single week in the last two months when I could just do my job, without all this extraneous bs. I still don't understand what the hell they did, because they said they were fixing the fairing. Could it be that the fairing is on correctly now, yet the whole rest of the truck is off?

How cool. That is some place I have always wanted to go. When I was in college, I had to plan a trip for a project and that was my hypothetical destination. Everything I read about it seemed so amazing, literally thousands of years of history!

Mine is a little off, but yours is waaaay off. There is some adjustments in/out and up/down on the step fairing and an up/down on the battery box where the removable one mounts...but I think I'd get it to a company shop and let them do it...that way, it something else breaks and the fairings go flying an hour down the road...it wasn't your fault.

Very good news(or bad news, depending on how you look at it) Verizon has figured out time travel...or else it was the NSA spy-gate delaying a message. I was texting my wife about this weekend's(and my vacation's) plans...when she got real confused. Not because she's an honorary blond, but because the network decided to finally deliver a message I sent last July...mixed in with one of the current messages. The reason I know it wasn't any of our phones was because she delete's our messages on a bi-weekly basis to save memory on her phone, and I've had this phone a whopping 2 months...way to go Verizon!....now back to the previous discussion, already in progress.

Maybe he was enjoying the natural air conditioning provided by the caves...I know I would, I don't think it's been below 75 outside my truck for days...
