With the way the brain trust plans in Lincoln, you'll pick up in....Albany, GA...there are drivers in Tifton coming down to Jacksonville to pick up at Bud-dummer.:biggrin_255:

Does anyone know Tonn Ostergard's code for receiving Qcomm messages? If he doesn't have one, who is the highest officer who does? Thanks

I might be in the same situation as my parents are getting very fragile and keep requesting one of us kids to caretake for them. I am interested in how you handled the daily pressures of alzheimers and all that stuff. I am worried that I won't be able to handle it and possibly neglect or abuse them. What can you recommend to prepare for such a thing? You can send me a PM as it is not really related to this forum. I would very much appreciate any advice. Thanks

I would be willing to bet he isn't accessable via q/comm. I've only spoken to the man once during a feel-good visit when Nebraska was playing at Ohio State....in the meeting, his Blackberry got more attention than our concerns....at least that's the way it felt. Unless he's reeeeeeal good at multi-tasking. Other than being able to msg 11 the VP of Op's, I'm not sure if any exec level management is directly able to receive a q/comm message w/o it being brought to their attention thru the op's manager or your A/MM.

Holy crap has the Menards D/C in Shelby IA grown. Their new warehouse that they are still putting the roof on would probably be able to hold the entire Lincoln terminal, property and all inside and have room to spare.

Before I started my day, I beeped my A/M 1st thing about a load out of Shelby since I was delivering there...beep, pick up in Shelby going to Columbia, MO for tomorrow. Not the most productive load, but considering the amount of lost time and troubles I've had w/finding customers, being delayed by customers running behind or waiting for a late pick up appointment...I took it w/a smile. My A/M has been so much better than most of the one's drivers tell me about. I truly lucked out on this one.

haha. never send an mt call at 11:55

EDIT: It had been over an hour since my mt call so I sent them this: "It has been over an hour since your empty call. If you're being delayed please send canned #16"...haha I got a message back. "That's a good one. Short on freight. Should hopefully have more info with in the next hour" next HOUR! I sent back "I need a P/O for detention then"...haha

So, has anyone seen hide or hair of these Kenworths Crete is allegedly trying out? Or even evidence of the 500 Freightliners they ordered this year? I still haven't seen anything but Internationals brand-new waiting to be lettered yet.

You can contact anyone at Crete via email. Use first initial, full last name, @cretecarrier dot com. I speak from experience.

I haven't seen anything but Prostate. I had heard from one of our longterm Shaffer trainers that they only were suppose to get 10 K/W's to try.
