things that make a truck ride bad:
    1). Worn out shocks.
2). Ride hight of air bags out of adjustment.
3). Air pressure of tires too high.

Also, trailer loaded unevenly. And fifth wheel location.

It seems to pass the shock test.

Every terminal I go to has all kind of tractors sitting. Are they trading those off? Several guys from orientation were sent by train from Lincoln to Salt Lake City to get their trucks. I hope they find something closer for ya volvo.

Most of the trades when I was there last were the non-aero fairing Prostars and the early non-aero fairing Cascadia's.

    Well well well....Darn hackers!

I got rid of the hazmat load in those darn tanks totes! Unloaded in Houston and was sent to Seabrook for ANOTHER haz mat load! Two in a row must be a record of some kind. I found out the ladies in Lincoln due in fact have a sense of humor. I was calling in my haz mat load which were styrofoam beads. I was answering her questions and then she asked me the quantity of beads in each box:biggrin_25523:. I stammered and paused then she busted out laughing and said she was kidding:biggrin_2559: I got a note from another AM asking if I could swing by and gather up a driver and get him back to Wilmer. They said he's right near Houston. They gave me the miles and re-sent the load assignment. I didn't get stop pay though. Dropped him and the truck in Wilmer and went home for the night! A not so quick unload in Waxahachie and a load in Addison. Sitting in Minnesota tonight for an early unload in the morning.

You ever have back to back loads that re-trace your last route? Addison, Tx to Worthington, MN then Sleepy Eye, MN to Ft. Worth, TX.....it's like groundhog day:biggrin_2559:

For a week or so I did nothing but bounce back and forth between Atlanta-ish and Jacksonville-ish. I know I-75 and I-10 better than anybody now.

Sittin' in my brand new freight shaker.

Won't be much shakin' in this thing. It's so much nicer and quieter than the combine it ain't even funny, folks, even though it's a stripper.

Gotta make sure I don't crank this #### thing up when it's already running now.

I still have an old 2010 Prostar. My bunk a/c went out for the second time in two months but I don't want to say anything. If I put it in the shop, I'm worried they will give me a new truck or worse a blue truck. These old cummins pull like there is no tomorrow.
