For all the #####in' about Cascadias and CB antennas, getting it all to work right in mine was a breeze compared to the the ProStar.

Bird perch mount on the mirror, 5.5' Francis turned forward, 18' coax (excess just kinda stuffed where it would fit, not coiled up)

No tweaking beyond that, SWR 1.3 on ch19. Can't complain. Can't complain at all.

Sitting in the Consignee's driveway in Billings, MT. Weather is deteriorating rapidly. Gonna be an ugly day tomorrow.

I fueled in Billings Saturday...was warm enough to use the a/c. But by the time I got to Three Forks it was cold, then patchy ice fog from Missoula to Spokane. Last night in Spokane, BAD wind storm and colder. After 1 stop in Spokane, headed down US395 towards OR, and bad dust storms off and on so bad you couldn't see 1/4 mile....

Yep, you will be told to drop your load in a particular spot and then depending on the consignee either be told to pick up an empty at spot such and such OR some just tell you to find any empty company trailer and hook it. (but not at a dock)

Knocked out my delivery in Billings, my pickup in Billings, and made it to the Wally in Fort Collins. Fought snowy, windy and wet conditions all day. TODAY, it's bright and sunny and I only made it down to Consignee in Denver and now I sit in Laramie due to Light Trailer Restrictions on I80. I was dh from Denver to Green River, Wyoming. Snowy and I made money, now Sunny and I sit. The West is awful Flaky.

I run Western Regional and deal with that stuff all the time and had to take a pay cut for the privelege...makes perfect sense to me!

I was in Denver last week with no chains so was sent to the drop lot to get some. When I got them they sent me east, and east, and east. Will deliver in Maine friday.

    Decisions, decisions...

Sitting at the Dixie Truckers' Home in McLean, IL... on a load going to Harrisonvile, MO. Route suggestion is to go across 72/36. Fuel stop is in Lincoln, IL...

Going across 70 or 72/36 shows 394 miles either way, but a few extra minutes going 70. Because of where the fuel stop is, I can go either way. (for once)

70 will have more places to stop if needed, but will also have more traffic and annoying 60-61mph trucks.

"I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not so sure."
