    This in a nutshell is what causes poor driver retention in our industry. xls is a #### good driver who only asks that people keep their word. We've all got things important to us and are sick and tired of trying to buck the system for basic comforts and needs.

    Just don't tell surferjoe!

    It's pays % - 70 mph trucks, and paper logs ....at least for now ,

    I'd go up into TN,NC or VA...if I was to move into a better area....I'm going to try this for 6 months to a year and then maybe try a choice lease

    I looked into Choice, but they won't take on drivers where I live.

    Of the 3, TN would be better, no state income tax. Especially for someone moving out another state without state tax like FL

    We had spent a week on the Island in the summer of 2001. Long before my trucking days began. We flew into Islip. Stayed in Port Jeff/Miller Place with friends. Road tripped all the way out to Montauk and back. I probably wouldn't fit up the stairwell in the lighthouse now. Barely did then. I didn't want any part of the city then either.
