It has a countdown on the display. You can tap the throttle, release and apply the brakes or hit the shutdown override button for another 200 seconds

They all back about same. More vibration in a Freightliner so your vision might not be as clear in the mirrors.
Rocks Thanks this. -
They use some smart detect system that prevents drivers from constantly overriding thr shut-down.
In older trucks you could put something on the accelerator or just release your tractor breaks and it would stay on 24/7.
Now after holding a pedal down or pumping a petal too many times without moving it will begin to ignore your input and shutdown anyway.
The only thing not monitored is the engine override button and one driver even went out and bought a special switch cover that would keep on pressing it on a timer. So now he just pops it on and let's it do its thing and can idle 24/7.
Of course till they have a shop look into why the idle isn't cutting off and find you hit the overide switch 1 million times in the last week.Rocks Thanks this. -
Yes you tell your am or glorified dispatch to route you the miles...opti idle keeps your warm and cool and also clean out the soot, company also has kws t680s, you want crete dry side and you may want to look into Tennessee dedicated and regional Landa for dry van...like the driver mentioned go to lenoir city, that's my terminal but my personal cars in deland don't ask but they'll talk to you but that's a place to park or dump the trailer and bobtail to your house you can take truck home as long as you have a secure place to park it (not advised to just leave it at a wmt lot) make deal with mom n pop with cameras or drop trailer and bobtail home if your area allows bobtails size and weight... good luckRocks Thanks this.

Question for the Crete guys. I’m pulling an ex Crete dryvan (2014). It has the rear amber turn signals. When using emergency flashers, are those supposed to blink by themselves or just the reds? Wasn’t sure how Crete had them set up.
-
They’re sufficient like that.JoeyJunk Thanks this.

I ran for another fleet out of the Monroe, GA dc a couple of years ago and you were supposed to pull stickers, but it really depended on the stores. Sams clubs you always pulled them and sometiems you had to shag a trailer for them, but we got paid for it. WM stores sometimes they wanted stickers, sometimes not. AFter watching dispatch toss the sticker sheets a couple of times after I started I only did them if the store wanted them.
