I'm getting around 3, 000 my paid miles are around 2100-2400
I a crap run right now going to davenport, IA its about 160 miles
Hope I get a good run out of this

 

Wells will allow me to make Lodi the next day. One day will have to be around 620 miles so might as well make it the first day in case something happens. Besides Wendover has casinos near by and I'm still recovering from my Vegas vacation

 

Re-did the math, Wendover is exactly halfway... Cool

 

That is just flat out ########. WTF is Crete involved in the Cpap business for anyways? Tonn is probably getting a kickback for every machine Crete forces a driver to get.

 

Drove past the Wilmer terminal last week. Thought there would be a Under New Management sign on the fence...

 

So I heard, his wife (Mr. Acklie's daughter) owns all or part of SleepPointe, hence this huge conflict-of-interest.

 

Doesn't surprise me in the least. That man is ruining what used to be one of the best OTR companies out there.

 

Completed my 1900-miler to Nogales, AZ this morning, taking three consecutive nights of 10 hour and three minute breaks. Got there just after 7AM. They don't start unloading until 8, and I didn't want to drop without making sure I had a load back out of there (Becton Dickenson). Sent the appropriate macro, asking for my next load. Nothing. Tell 'em go ahead and unload me and I'll just wait. Finally get empty around 10AM, send the empty call, and....you can guess what comes next.

Right.

Pick up a preloaded trailer right there, in fact, right next to me! Geez...two hours killed, but it really didn't matter too much today, as I'm bushed. This one is heading to Sandy, UT.

Last three weeks were 3433, 3206, and this week finished up at a respectable 2909, given my hours available. The long run helped maximize the running time.

AND....I'm a grandpa for the fourth time. Jayden Makenzie born at 10AM on May 8th, which is also my oldest daughter's birthday AND my Mother-in-laws birthday.

Other than those things, another boring week....but I am getting a bit frustrated again at the seemingly oblivious crew in Lincoln.....

And I'm at Eloy, AZ this evening.
