About a month ago I got a call from somebody from the Columbus terminal asking me if I wanted to come back. Can't remember his name but it wasn't anybody I knew from my time there. He went on and on about the 2 cent pay raise everyone was getting. I told him that I was not interested and hung up.

These short loads are boring me to death, a slow one from Indy to Baltimore, I managed to get live unloaded early, and now a short one from PA to OH, it was preloaded with an anytime drop. BUT, a fresh 70 doesn't cut it here anymore. I could have run another 300 miles, but what's the use. I'm sure I'll snag a 300 miler once I'm empty anyways.

I finally watched Harold and Kumar go to the White Castle. What a great movie. And I bought the trilogy.
that was an old movie, NPH was still straight.

I will be on my third sub 400 miler tomorrow. A Menards store live unload on a Saturday! Lucky me :biggrin_25510:

I watched "Ride Along" last night. It was darn funny for the most part

Left there because of that crap. Company im with now preplans you ahead of time and everything 500 plus, with 2 exceptions and that was to just get me to area with longer run.

Like I said this is the third one in a row since coming off of home time. I can understand one to get me a trailer and get going but come on; three! Oh well I'm about to send a message to ops to see if we still book anything longer than 400 miles..haha

I turned down a long load, 685 miles. It delivered the 9th, I'm suppose to start home time on the 11th.
Would have put me 900 miles from home.
i ended up with a 283 miler that delivers Monday.

some the longest runs I ever received there came when I was headed home. It's almost like a test to see if you really want to go home or not.

12,236 last month. Home now for 8 days, so this month will be down. That, and I freely admit to not pushing hard this past week at all. Fatigue will do that to ya after 50+ days out. Ended last week with 2500, then 700 to carry into my vacation week.

My AM is still doin' good. Decent miles, home on time. Be safe everyone!

I always seem to get offered the nice western runs when I:

    A) Don't have the hours to run them, or
    B) Am supposed to be home within 2-4 days.

    xlsdraw Thanks this.
