Went back and looked through my records dating back to my start date in February, 2012 with Crete.

Nope...can't come close to this record! About the longest streak I had was about 10 loads, but in the middle of those was a 900+ miler. This included a week with six loads for 2900 miles.

Is Crete giving away free tire guages ?
I only use my guage on trips longer than 1,000 miles. Otherwise I press my thumb against the sidewall.

The shop use to give them out, but a lot of drivers are as confused about how to use a tire gauge as they are about which end of the broom moves dirt. (And I am talking drivers in general....not just over there)

Could, I dropped at little china. Was out of hours, parked at Pilot next door, got next load right back into little china for the regional run, claimed all they had, but I'd never been to SD before so that was cool, but I pulled Penguins too though, if you're a Creten u may not get one. Good luck.

Well wonders never cease! 1730 appt and I was rolling down the road at 1815. Looks like they may be making some improvements there. A lot of the trucks were moving in and out quickly. Scaled in Howard City and decided to call it a day. I should be able to sneak thru the Chicago area early enough to avoid the traffic. Des Moines tomorrow night then N.Platte for a midday delivery. That should put me around 1800 miles for the week.

The loads out of WM/North Platte aren't bad for the one-way guys. I did one two weeks ago with two stops in Sioux Falls. No biggie.
