Thats why I plan my trips perfectly, a reset in Youngstown, tomorrow is a bear, either BLoomsbury, PA, Milroy, PA, or Allentown, all have the things I like nearby. Choices, Choices???

K/C did something like that on my last truck. They forgot to connect ALL the positive wires to the batteries that run the bunk a/c...so, on a 105 degree day, after the shop had already gone home...Mr. Monkey wrench and I hooked them back up right.

how do you get around to these places? Taxi? walk? No wonder I'm hating the road lately. I'm not living! As Auntie Mame said; "Yes! Live! Life's a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death!

Uh, in Youngstown I go to the Pilot at the 223, I walk next door to the Ice House. A great place to grab a reset .
But tommorow sucks, too many choices. The TA in Bloomsbury has a Ruby Tuesday and Quaker Steak nearby, the Tom's in Milbury has a sports bar next door, or a local bar that I like a mile walk aways. Trexlers in Allentown has a great German Pub across the highway.
yeah!! I walk. It's good excercise and with these short loads in the Northeast at least I have a great time.

in Wisconsin if you drink enough, you get a free cab back to the truck, or your house.
my last cab ride was from the Stockman truck stop in St Paul to the Mall of America. They had a bar on top and I watched the last soccer game of the World Cup with a bunch of Mexicans?? It was great. If I knew better, I could have got a hotel, the free shuttle to the Mall and back, and saved money.

but you get hotels all the time , heck I got a room in Indy at the Crete hotel because I thought we got a big discount. Nope, it was like $52 .

    stungjoe Thanks this.
