Two or three in my nearly 2 1/2 years. Three....just remembered the last one.

Delivered in Pineville this morning. Never seen it so quiet....no bobtails on the lot, lots of room in the inbound area. I'm being deadheaded 160 miles to GP in Montecello, MS for a load to IN. But it'll be t-called at East St. Louis as it doesn't deliver til the 7th.

Does Crete use that multi-carrier lot behind the Pilot? Across from the Speedway.

This time my hustling didn't pay off :(

Picked up in Mobile heading to Owensboro but not the plant. It's to a whs in town and it's a live unload. I sent my AM a msg this morning about an earlier appt. but no dice! So tomorrow at 1300 it is. I got Tonn to cover a hotel room for the night since my bunk air cuts off. I sweet talked the gal into a CLC rate or just 38 bux. I called breakdown and got an RC number and will get reimbursed. I figured it was better to check in and be comfy than wait an hour for breakdown to answer and then fax all of the stuff in. I'm in Bowling Green so I'm sleeping in since it's only about 90 miles to cons.

XLSdraw, I've pulled four HM loads in three years. One was even a paint tote load so I think that's a tanker now. Which of course I have that endorsement too ;) That load was followed by a styrofoam bead load which for some reason was placarded. So a back to back hazzy!

I would usually get 1 about ever 14-18 months. And we Poly drivers haul the big totes of liquid on occasion...you are correct, a tanker endorsement is required if it is a full load. We have had a couple drivers get nailed for not having the endorsement.

I replaced the main fuse in my AC unit, but now it'll only run about 6 hours. Got an A service due next week....I'm pretty sure I've got a few tired batteries, so I'll have them checked. But still really kinda dreading losing this truck....421k and counting....

When it gets close, you'll start hearing the Jeopardy theme really softly, but getting louder and louder. It's an option they installed.:yes2557:

Rant Time ....Not to sound like Cpt Obvious, but the culture of bs from Lincoln (Everybody covers each others back =Zero accountability) put me into uncivilized mode today. I come out of the house with a fresh 70 last Sun. I told the AsManager Fri to square me up for early Sun morning, I check the qc Sat afternoon and there is a 601 mile load preplanned over 2.25 days & live unload appt. I get to the shipper Sun morning and the preload that was promised ready on Sat had not been started....spent 7 hrs waiting to get loaded Sun and finished with 298 miles that day, Monday ran the other 302 and tried to tcall..no luck. So I had to sit on it Mon and del Tues morning...spend 4.5hrs at cons than get a 2 stop pu today with 621 miles on it though the first live pu did not happen until 1400 this afternoon so 291 miles today. I called up the Asmanagers boss and told him that so far I am 5800 miles behind last years numbers and things don't start ironing out that I would talk to his boss. This jackwagon tried to spin things in circles....I AM FED UP !
