I pay around 17 bux for the prepass and I do like having it!

I made it from KC to Wilmer and was able to t-call this load. They sent me two preplans so I knew the first one was a favor load. Sure 'nuff it's a 32 miler to Carrollton for a live unload but it's followed by a 780 miler to S.Sioux City, NE with drops on both ends and an any time on the 9th. Waiting for Tucker to tell me where the watering hole is in NE. I might need one :biggrin_25520:

Thats a tough one, not knowing your hours, me, the Kansas Star, exit 33, south of Wichita, maybe Hooters, at Council Bluffs, park at the Horse shoe Casino, or.......

the Argosy Casino in Sioux City, park right along the river. Great nights sleep, and they have a shuttle.
    Enjoy..

Join OOIDA, it's 14.90 a month for me, plus the OOIDA membership is 25 a year, they even send a magazine a month , that I've yet to read

I think we have a winner! Thanks, I knew you would know. I can hit that on the 8th and then sneek back across the river to deliver on the 9th.

So do they have truck parking there? I know there's a Loves and FlyingJ or Pilot just down the road a ways. That McDonalds also has a few spots beside the PFJ.

Yep, truck parking, not a lot. But most don't know about it. Maybe mapquest it. It's a cool place, next to the down town scene. I'd kill to get back there, maybe this guy next to me that's totally drunk
and mumbling. But he's 80 plus and still driving....

Well some generous driver who dropped the trailer I'm repowering failed to inform the shop about a mudflap bracket bent about a foot back on the passenger side :biggrin_25513: Thanks a lot driver! Now it's in the shop and the tech said it also needs a T1 :biggrin_25521: So hopefully it will be done by 09:30 when I need to leave to make my delivery. Maybe my AM will cancel me off this load and give me a nice 2000 miler to Washington state or something :biggrin_2559:

The way I have straightened those out on the road is take your load strap and wrap it around the mud flap and bracket, the hook the ends to the trailer frame...then slide your tandems a notch or two. You'd be surprised how easy they bend. You just have to remember where the pins were before you slid in case you're taking a real load, instead of a shag. (MacGyver was my imaginary mentor)

They got it fixed and the trailer inspection done. So it's a short run then off to Sioux city.
