I must be on the good side of somebody now. Finishing up my 3,940 mile week with delivery in Riverside on Friday (couple hrs from now) and got a load from Colton, CA to Mechanicsville, VA. My last 6 loads have been good ones (1,284 mi; 1,692 mi; 716 mi; 1,869 mi; 2,071 mi and now 2,593 mi). This last load takes me out East again though...so I am sure the loads will decrease in length after this.

I wonder if it's cheaper to have you sit in a dock and deal with the OS&D, then to put it on a train and pay a local driver -
My wife does have a rider pass........tucker Thanks this.

They run them from time to time when the appointment times are so tight it doesn't fit the train schedule or they had more loads heading to Miami than they had available drivers to deliver at the other end. I pulled Buddummer out of St.Louis to W. Palm Beach because of the lack of delivery drivers down there.

Found out yesterday my AM will be leaving Crete as of today.. I talked to him for a bit yesterday and so far no other AM lined up for me, he has been good and I wished him well on his next venture, hopefully this next guy/gal can attempt to do a good job.
I've been lucky as I have had 3 different AM's and had no problems with any of them. Already made my miles for my raise this year with just over a month to go to my anniversary. Already sitting at 6295 for the this month.
Hopefully things stay smooth but time will tell.
After a horrible January (breakdown x 2, kidney stone ) every month since has been good, lots of west coast and had my longest load since being here.. Joisey to WA 54 mt 2876 loaded..I take what I get for loads and only turn down what I don't have hrs for...I actually don't care what my length of load is as long as it is productive and keeps me rolling.. I am proactive when it comes to unproductive loads.. tcall, request early delivery from CSR or run it in early anyways..I always call customers I am not familiar with to let them know my ETA. Most of the time I've been able to unload/drop early unless it's grocery ( exactly why I don't do reefer ), been there done that with my last company as favors and grocery warehouses suck !!
Avg miles per dispatch at 729.5 but the only numbers I look hard at is pay in my pocket at the end of the year.
Be safe out there !!
