BTW what the heck does chive on mean anyways -
and I know what you mean about pushing thru the tough times. My family and I have been knocked down to rock bottom so many times we thought we were going to have to put in for a permanent change of address. But thru it all my wife managed to keep the lights on and the kids fed no matter how crappy a paycheck she got from me. That was what I was doing at Crete...hanging on hoping that the light at the end of the tunnel wasn't the 3:30 express to Rock Bottom Lane48Packard Thanks this. -
Chive on, from the web site, and charitable organization, called the Chive. Promotes drinking and giving... KCCO is their favorite acronym, originally stood for Keep Calm Carry on, from the english during WWII... They changed it to Keep Calm Chive on... They promote giving forward, RAK, Random acts of Kindness, and throw parties where they donate the proceeds to charities.

Yeah, I'm dead serious. That's where I thought it came from. Another stellar moment of intellectualism! -
I acknowledged publicly (on here) several days ago that SSB appears to be correct. Rae asked me to give it a little time. A few on here have suggested giving it a little time. Some believe I made a big mistake and am wasting my time. Some believe that I am unsatisfiable. Truth is, I'm not sure at all as to what's going down. I know my old dispatcher is doing O/O's now so can't go there. Current average dispatch now stands at 488.0, not remotely close to the 680.0 I averaged here before. One of our posters the other day said his average is in the 700s. For a lot of reasons I need to give it a little time and I will try to. No guarantee that I will succeed. Time will tell.

I hope it straightens up for you, xls. Reviewing my own numbers, my average dispatch has been within 10 or 15 either way of 660 the entire 2 1/2 years I've been here.
You tried something different. It wasn't working for you, so you returned to something that was workable previously. Any idjit that plays the "told ya so" card is talking out their hind end. Pulling for ya, man! -
At Consignee/Shipper this morning I would have been in and out in an hour dropping my loaded inbound trailer and grabbing my loaded outbound trailer. But when I tried to scale out I was 1500 over on my drives but only 77,500 gross. Slid my tandems all the way forward and was still 500 over on the drives. They sent me over to the plant to get the load reworked. I told the folks at the plant I was fine on gross just needed a couple pallets pulled closer to the rear since there was about a good 8 feet from the last 2 pallets to the back doors. 4 Hours Later they finally had the load ready. What did they do? They took off 1 pallet. Must have been the one that was in the nose. Why short your customer a pallet when moving a little weight back was the simple fix?
