Let me tell you it's one heck of a transition moving back into a double bunk truck after being in a mid-roof. My new nickname is Lumpy. 5'8" is a bad height. I need to either be 4 inches shorter so I'd clear or 4" taller so I could see that darn rail.

There was a time when I could eat that stuff. However, after surgery I am now lactose intolerant. It doesn't make me sick like some but milk/ice cream give me very bad acid reflux

    I'm done.

ba deeb ba deeb ba deeb that's all folks!

EDIT: I just got a preplan after 4 hours. pick up today and delivers on the 28th...480 miles. Any guesses on what I told them?

Still 60 miles from home. All doors but mine are full of Maine's trucks which are being loaded first. The guy behind the protective window said afternoon appointments "are not good". I guess I'll be first in line when 3rd shift gets in.

Crete needs to get more freight out west I'm not
Complaining but keeping most of the fleet back east
    Dryies up the miles

Just did 2 nights of the midnight shift. New load gets me off it...BUT WAIT!!! I got a message from dispatch wanting to know if I could repower a load and drive overnight again. Had to say no, since I have been up all day now, after driving all night to deliver on time. So, still on the load to Omaha.

Well after 95 minutes from the time I declined the load offer, they finally canceled it off. "check back in the a.m." I had no idea Amarillo was that bad for freight. I have always gotten in and out of here quickly. Oh well on a good note i will break my all time record for idle time. Sitting at 27% right now and it's 95*. I know my batteries will be out soon. I really do hope someone from Wilmer calls me out on it.

Time to catch up on the old ROME series I have on the hard drive.

Just tell 'em that the Handbook says that Idle time is an annual goal, and 1 week means little.

I think the last letter of the 1st word ended in "k" and the last word was "you" ...but I don't think it was "thank you":biggrin_2559:
