Sometimes pre loads are ready and sometimes they're not. You will scale in the middle lane and get your paperwork when you scale. Decent chance you'll get the privilege of having your load reworked.

Yep GM, and no place close to park except a little dirt area by the interstate or all the way over to the t/a and pilot east of there in Madison....roughly 15-20 miles one way.

 

I almost feel like a slacker....what with you guys racking up 630+ miles a day. I came in at a lowly 500 yesterday and 537 today.

Just got to the Pilot in Boonville, MO. Was trying for the KC yard, but not enough time to get there. I will, however, stop there tomorrow and see if I can get some laundry done before I head up to Omaha...

 

So I parked next to this fireworx stand...I hope it don't blow up! haha I'm parked here for the night. I got to Lenoir City and the darn pumps would only gimme 75 gal.s and the light was about to come on. So I t-called the load and of course no MTs so they had me bob over to Loudon for a load. What was my fuel solution you ask??? Lenoir City...haha I bailed on that and will fuel en route to Romeoville. I think I can park at the drop lot and make it to the cons w/out tripping the ol Qcom on to drive. I'm sure hoping they have my vacation pay come Monday. It will be my third full year here.

BTW I hope it's not a bad omen when you p/u a loaded trailer with 9 and three quarter tires. The ol' belly rack has a blown tire and a gatorless carcass


Oh and 587 miles today. I could have went on up to Corbin, KY but I knew this place has some nice shade trees


EDIT: I met a really cool driver today at Lenoir City. 71 years young and having fun. He was a riot. I was looking for an MT and he said I could have his trailer. I asked "Is it MT?" "nope but you can still have it"...haha I asked him if I took his trailer what was he gonna do..."I'm gonna go take a he she it(say it really fast and you'll get the drift). I saw him over at Kim-Clark about 30 minutes later. I said: "I told you I would bring that over here" to which he said "you should have said it louder"..haha

 

DG in Jonesville is a live offload tomorrow morning. Staged 5 minutes away at a Kangaroo.

 

Sitting at Indy terminal. Are they watching the race? No they're watching The Fugitive I guess Oprah is on next.
