These idiotic driver managers as they're called usually some young kid out of college thinks it's funny to screw a driver over...frankly, that's one of the reasons why companies can't keep great drivers...too drivers aren't going to put up with that garbage...

I've now fallen victim to the "screw the Internationals" theory that the company has. I had a perfectly serviceable (well almost) 2014 ProStar that ran great for me for 60k or so. Into the dealership in PHX it goes to get what I have to assume is the DPF and/or the EGR valve fixed (CEL's, occasional stuttering and occasional black smoke). As I was bobtailing from Winslow back to PHX (so glad the company saved money and risked the truck crapping itself in the middle of nowhere enroute) I get a call from the TM in Phoenix. 4 trucks available, all high mileage 2012 or older except for one 2014 Cascadia with 100k on it. Needless to say I'm now in my first (with this company at least) Freightliner. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles like the Internationals have nor the storage space but I'm good with it.
I am kinda curious who had this truck before I got it though. When I got into the truck everything and I mean EVERYTHING was ArmorAll-ed... including the sleeper floor, all 3 pedals and the shifter. Someone went a bit overboard. On the other hand, the qualcomm was CAKED with built up dirt and the outside of the truck was dirtier than I've ever seen a Crete truck. I guess not everyone has the same meaning of "detailing" as I do -

Just remember, Cory isn't God...he has a supervisor. We got into it often enough that Joyce would intervene (not sure who Joyce is, but she is up the chain of command from Cory). She would resolve the issues so often, Cory wouldn't play that 200 mile northeast torture chamber cycle with me...most of the time it was in and right back out.
